Categories can help to organize projects into groups.

ArkBackup creates a default category automatically and the default category can't be removed or renamed. But you can create your own categories and manage them.

To create a new category, just click on the menu "File" - "New category...", then you will be asked to enter the name for the new category. After that, a new category is created.

You also can use categories manager to add/rename/remove categories. Click on the menu "File" - "Categories manager..." to call it out:

When you remove a category, all projects belong to this category, will be all moved to the default category.
